It was a beautiful lake - so beautiful as to be surreal. The water was a shade of blue one only hears about in fairytales, or sees in gemstones, and the whole lake was eerily calm. No wind ever came to disturb the surface, shining and mirror-like. All was silent and still.
And beneath the blue enchantment, there lay the twisted, calcified corpses of an ancient forest. |

Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization. Open to all mediums. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
